The King of Hell, Qin Guangwang, oversaw the judgment and distribution of souls, yet his work was flawed. More and more souls lingered in the mortal realm, disrupting the balance of the Three Realms. Thus, a profession dedicated to harvesting souls emerged in the human world. Renowned and feared, he struck terror into the hearts of demons and turned the heads of the most wicked and evil. An ancient soul, powerless and timeless, Unclaimed even by the eighteen hells. Vicious criminals, vengeful spirits, War criminals, malevolent specters, Ancient souls, lost spirits, hellish fiends, Shadowy souls of the underworld- Each more formidable than the last, Each more troublesome than the previous. Forced into the role, Huang Daosheng faces a heavy burden. Only by becoming the mightiest soul reaper Can he survive, uncover the secrets of the underworld, And finally end this high-risk, hellish job. Unfortunately, he was saddled with a group of dim-witted companions. Even in the solemn business of battling souls, their team remained hilariously chaotic-constantly bungling missions while giggling like idiots. Their lecherous antics and erratic behavior drove Huang Daosheng to the brink of madness: "Qin Guangwang, please, just take me now. I want to die."
