Dixie might belong in Kissing Creek, but she's got too many reasons to leave.A decade ago, I had a plan. I'd graduate high school and make my place in the small southern town I belonged to. I'd leave my daddy's run-down single-wide and ignore him when he got ugly. I'd send my mama to voicemail when she called from her fancy life in Chicago.
