Millions of psoriasis sufferers who wear their illness on their skin, for the world to see, have been told that there are no known cause and no cure. Skin on Fire debunks these falsehoods.
Expensive medications marketed to treat psoriasis are among the most commonly advertised drugs on TV, in magazines, and hawked by social media influencers. But their use comes with serious risks, mandating that consumers do frequent blood work to check for infection and potential organ damage. Those with psoriasis are only willing to accept the risks because they are desperate and frustrated. They wear long sleeves in the summer and anxiously cringe at the thought of the exposure of a swimsuit. Their skin is patchy, flaky, and volatile. It itches and burns. If this is your story, you're not alone-and if you're searching for an entirely natural approach as an alternative to mediocre medical solutions that only seem to make your condition worse, you've found it.
