Featuring an eclectic and inspired range of vignettes, Sirens and Rain celebrates Philadelphia with poetic dexterity and brilliance. Poem after poem brings out the essence of how human activities blend seamlessly with nature. This is clearly the work of a poet engaged, aware, and attuned to the finest details and character of his city. -Tom Clausen
