Simple Bible Stories: The New Testament begins with Mary and Joseph and the birth of Jesus and concludes with Paul arriving at Rome to complete the book of Acts. Jesus's life is depicted in chronological order from His birth through His death and resurrection. Jesus's life continues through the church in the book of Acts. From the church's beginning on the day of Pentecost, through its phenomenal growth in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and throughout the known world, the reader will learn of Peter, James, Stephen, Paul, and many more. Simple Bible Stories: The New Testament would be ideal for any busy Sunday school or children's church teacher. This book provides them with a Bible story written for children seven years old and up, followed by questions about the story to be certain the children have understood the story. Parents could also use this book to read their children a bedtime story or during family devotions time.
