This is a story of the hard-riding Silvertip and a chase-a chase after a wolf called Frosty, for around Frosty's neck there is an iron collar, and somewhere in that collar is the description of the location of a vein of gold. It was here in the Blue Water Mountains that the great Barry Christian takes up the trail after Frosty, and here it is where Silvertip once again meets up with his most dangerous enemy, which all leads up to a hard-hitting and action-filled Western, written as only Max Brand, the ace of Western writers, can write it.
