About
Laurie can never escape her past. Every glance in the mirror or step down the street serves as a constant reminder of the tragedy that scarred her for life.
However, there's a part of her history that perhaps Laurie shouldn't forget: her strange, destructive friendship with Caitlin, a former resident of Violet Lake, the specialist children's unit where they were both patients twenty years ago.
Caitlin, a turbulent and vivacious girl whose scars were so severe that Laurie has no idea what she even looked like, mysteriously disappeared from Violet Lake. Now, Laurie is determined to find answers.
Little did she know, the truth she uncovers will be far more shocking than she ever expected.
