Shot in Reality

There are billions of things in life that everyone hopes isn’t real. It’s hard to accept the truth. There are millions of ways to react to learning the truth. Standing in front of a mirror won’t reveal the truth. Stepping out of the comfort zone, seeing new faces, and new people makes us realize that the truth exists. The pain that comes with it is inevitable, but why fight the reality? If only they’d known sooner, but the experience makes them stronger.
