"A well written delightful, funny read. I laughed, I learned from cover to cover and you will too. I haven't had such travel fun since I last saw a Chevy Chase Vacation movie. The things that actually happen to John and Leslie are akin to a Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz comedy skit."- Sheldon Bowles, New York Times bestselling author of Raving Fans, Gung Ho! And Kingdomality
When a 39-day European anniversary trip collides with Murphy's Law, laughter is guaranteed. In SH?#! Happens, the Turzers are "equal opportunity fun people" with a lust for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happy endings. From London to Paris and beyond, John and Leslie turn every stop into a lighthearted adventure, inviting readers to share not just a trip, but a one-of-a-kind journey worth celebrating, complete with comic mishaps along the way.
True to the book's title, the motto becomes a running joke as their adventures swing from "What a great time we had" to "I can't believe that happened."
Warm, witty, and relentlessly readable, SH?#! Happens is a celebratory travel memoir about long marriage, short fuses, good food, better people, and the delightful truth that the best memories are rarely the ones you planned.
