An excellent guide for the new or old Christian, this book clearly explains the seven basic doctrines of Christianity. Biblically-based, this book reveals the basic doctrines from the Bible that every Christian needs to know. Simple, concise, and to-the-point, the foundational principles revealed here will give Christians the spiritual grounding they need so they can grow into spiritual maturity. These seven doctrines will equip us to grow strong in our faith, know the will of God, and be free from spiritual error. With the Bible as its basis, this book helps Christians navigate the sometimes confusing contradictory beliefs of different denominations. It shows Christians how to discern truth from error and avoid doctrinal pitfalls as they measure everything by God's word.
This book is particularly helpful for small groups. At the end of each chapter is a list of Bible verses along with questions. By reading these Bible verses and discussing these questions together, a group of Christians can encourage each other in their faith. By following these Bible studies, new Christians can be discipled, and older Christians can be grounded in the faith. This book can also be used to start house churches.
