The life of thieves isn't an easy one. Living secretly under the nose of the law is enough of a challenge, but between a rival guild, lack of funds, and with their ranks at each others throats, the Coyote Thieves Guild finds themselves struggling beyond the usual. Every day is harder than the last, every heist falls through until they're spending more on getting bailed out of jail than they're making for profit. Everything looks bleak, until their Guildmaster Owl Wings comes bearing a beacon of hope...
...A book that tells the story of the end of the world. It should strike fear into the hearts of any bird living in Camorthes, but the Coyotes only see a profit to be made. Saving the world has to pay well, after all.
The first to step up to this journey is Legacy, a thief more desperate to prove herself than the rest, and someone willing to throw caution to the winds if it means earning Owl Wings' favor. Her determination only burns brighter when she learns that she's going to be working alongside Rose Heart, her detested rival. Will she succeed, and prove herself to be the greatest thief among the Coyotes, or will she fall short? She knows she can only rely on herself to answer that question.
