About

Christine Harper thought she had been selected to run a luxury hotel in Savannah.
After a career-ending tragedy in Washington, D.C., the position feels like the second chance she desperately needs.
A new city.
A prestigious hotel.
A chance to rebuild everything she lost.
Then, on her first day, Christine walks into Room 318.
A young woman is dead in the bathtub.
No one can verify her identity. The room has been meticulously cleaned. And thirteen minutes are missing from every surveillance camera in the hotel.
Someone erased them.
Christine should call the police, cooperate with the investigation, and stay out of the way.
Instead, she makes one mistake.
She takes a photograph from the crime scene.
Now she knows something she was never supposed to know.
And the problems are only beginning.
A dead guest can't simply be wheeled through the lobby of a luxury hotel filled with tourists, wedding guests, and cell phones. The body has to leave without anyone noticing.
There is another way out.
Beneath the hotel.
Below the chandeliers, marble floors, and carefully maintained perfection lies another Savannah-a hidden network of forgotten passages and sealed doors buried beneath the city.
Christine thinks she's going underground to protect the hotel's reputation.
Then she realizes someone has been there recently.
And whatever is hidden beneath the Luxury Inn may be far more dangerous than the scandal upstairs.
Then the warnings begin.
A photograph she was never meant to find.
A message from someone who knows she has it.
And one name that keeps appearing where it shouldn't.
FORSYTH.
When another young woman crosses Christine's path and the same word appears again, coincidence becomes difficult to believe.
Christine starts digging through the hotel's systems, searching old reservations, access logs, guest histories, and security records.
What she finds shouldn't be possible.
Reservations that don't match.
Guest records that have been altered.
Key-card activity that leads nowhere.
Missing surveillance footage.
And an administrator account with the highest level of access to the hotel-
that officially belongs to no one.
Then Christine discovers another woman.
Another name.
Another stay at the Luxury Inn.
Years earlier.
The details are different, but the anomalies are the same.
Suddenly, the question is no longer what happened inside Room 318.
It's how long has this been happening?
Someone has been moving through the hotel without leaving the trail a person should leave. Someone can alter what the hotel remembers-who checked in, which doors opened, what the cameras recorded.
And perhaps most frightening of all:
Someone knows Christine is looking.
The warnings become harder to ignore. The people she should be able to trust begin giving her reasons not to. And the deeper she searches, the more the polished world around her begins to look like a carefully constructed illusion.
Because Room 318 wasn't the beginning.
The dead woman wasn't the first connection.
And the Luxury Inn may not simply be the place where all of this happened.
It may be part of it.
Christine came to Savannah believing this job could save her career.
She thought she knew why she was there.
She never wondered what she had really been SELECTED for.
