About
The wilderness has always been my refuge, a place where the soul
finds solace amid towering pines and whispering grasses. My name is
Norman Lundgren, and this is the story of an experience that reshaped
my understanding of life, death, and the intricate dance of nature. It's
a tale I've carried for years, its weight both a burden and a gift, urging
me to share it with future generations and those who hear the wild's call.
This is not merely a story of survival; it's a testament to my love for the
natural world, a passion that led me to a heart-stopping encounter with
a cougar, her amber eyes locked on mine from three feet away, and to
the lessons nature taught me in the aftermath.
