“Sea Salt and Wolves” is a compilation of poems and songs that each tell a different story. Each lyric is derived from years of pain, abuse, loneliness, and depression-all woven together in a web intended to pull you in by the heart. Author Rita Mezic seeks to help you feel that you are understood and no longer alone. Years in the making, this collection of poetry transforms tears into hope and offers guidance for those facing their own fires.
I let my thin, trembling legs rest. And fall into the fire, for all I am is a pest. Before I reach the flame, My Savior, He catches me, with arms spread wide-as if He is to blame. He says, with gasps of agony in the fire, Suffering my flames, See, My dear, I told you I love you.
