What if the salvation message you learned in church isn't the one Jesus actually preached? After more than 60 years of personal evangelism and discipleship - on four continents - Ben Bennett noticed a troubling pattern; sincere believers who had walked the aisle, prayed the prayer, and been baptized, yet had never truly surrendered to Christ. Jesus warned of exactly this in Matthew 7: people who called Him "Lord" and are turned away. Scriptural Doctrine for Disciples is Ben's attempt to close that gap. Drawing on scripture alone - never opinion or political correctness - he tackles the questions most churches avoid: What does it really mean to repent? Is baptism necessary for salvation? Why does the Bible command us to fear a God who loves us? Are crowns and rewards actually at stake at the Judgement seat of Christ? And why is "God loves everyone" possibly the most dangerous sentence in modern preaching? Organized into short standalone studies - from the doctrines hidden in Genesis 1-3 to a battle - tested method for sharing the gospel in ordinary conversation - this was written for one purpose: to equip disciples who can make disciples. If you ever wondered whether your faith would survive an honest, scripture-first cross-examination, this book will take you there - and show you how to help someone else get there too.
