About

The purpose of The Jesus Bible Study Series is to help readers understand that Jesus is front and center throughout the Bible. He is as visible on the first page of Genesis as he is one the last page in Revelation-as present in the Garden of Eden as he is in the garden tomb and the new heavens and new earth. As readers follow this thread, they will discover a new depth to the Bible's meaning as they come to discover Christ in every chapter of the story.
In Savior, the fourth study in this series, readers will explore how God fulfilled his promise of sending the Messiah into the world by sending his only Son. Jesus was born into humble circumstances and raised by human parents. Once and for all, he appeased God's wrath against humanity's sin through his death on the cross, forever bringing to an end the old system of sacrifice and ritual. His sacrifice opened the way for rebels to come home to a peacemaking Father, and now, all are invited to come to God through him (see John 14:6).
