In the last one hundred years, aviation has evolved from an endeavor of a sublime few to the involvement of the mundane many. This first in a series of books gives a humorous overview of that transformation through the eyes of Sammya Sopwith Camel, an early British mass-produced aircraft during the First World War. This is a story of Sammys long working life and the development of aviation as seen through his eyes.

The detail of his adventures in each of the three wars and the intervening periods of peace between will be told in future books.
