Sixteen-year-old Princess Samantha of Timore is having an unexpected week. With her lively personality and devil-may-care attitude, Sam has just discovered a secret about herself that will change her world. She's a Faery Godmother! Born to a prestigious line of tradition and magical knowledge, but before she can learn even the most basic of spells, Sam is blindsided by a new upset. Not only is the creepy Duke Siago a guest in her beloved castle, but her father also seems determined to marry her off to him as soon as possible. However, before anything can come of this, the king returns from a hunting trip deathly ill, with a strange new wife trailing in his wake. In a whirl, Samantha and her six brothers find themselves being unceremoniously shoved aside as the new queen and the Duke begin fighting over, who gets the throne. When Sam appeals to her new magic world of Faery Godmothers for help, she finds only a cold refusal. Angry and confused, Sam returns home to find that her brothers have mysteriously disappeared. With her beloved home in danger, the bumble and fumble of novice faery-godmothering, can she find her lost brothers, rescue her father, and save Timore?
