Rushlight is a look into the future... a frightening place where man struggles to survive a ruined world. A privileged few live in a secure biosphere in the heart of the old city, a wasteland that decays around them; they're safe from the elements, but trapped in their carefully appointed fortress. The rest of the survivors of the Great Decline have been driven underground to eke out an existence in the subway tunnels, where tribes have formed around the labors that barely keep them alive. A young woman, a scavenger looking for food, braves the topside and is taken prisoner. Her fate, like many before her, is to serve as a slave for the inhabitants of the Complex. But her capture might be the spark of rebellion the underground tribes have needed to rise against their tormentors.
