The poetry of Ruth Kibler Peck reflects her love for life and her interest in people, history, literature, and art. She uses both rhyming forms and free verse to explore these topics. More than half of the poems in this volume have received national, state, or local awards. Peck brings to her poetry a woman’s sensitivity, a mothers understanding, a scholars thirst for truth, a teachers joy of discovery, a friends loyalty, and the writers quest for just the right word.
