From the frozen battlefields of WWII to the dusty mountains of Afghanistan, "Rosehips in June: A Special Ops Warlock Recalls" chronicles the extraordinary career of a shadow warrior operating at the intersection of military might and covert operations.
The narrative follows the enigmatic Warlock program from its inception during the Reagan administration through decades of clandestine operations spanning the globe. Through the eyes of Ryder Beaton, a Canadian commando turned intelligence operative, readers witness pivotal moments in modern warfare history-from daring mountain assaults in WWII Italy to hazardous reconnaissance missions in Vietnam, from the Iranian hostage crisis to strategic operations against the Soviet Union.
As the Cold War ends and a new threat emerges with the rise of Islamic terrorism, Beaton and his handpicked team of operatives race against time to neutralize Osama Bin Laden before tragedy strikes on American soil. Working beyond the constraints of traditional military and intelligence structures, the Warlock program represents America's most secretive and lethal capability-authorized to take the actions no one else can acknowledge.
With meticulous attention to historical detail and authentic special operations tactics, this epic saga explores the moral complexities of covert warfare and the personal toll extracted from those who operate in the shadows to protect national security.
