With a poetic sultriness echoing Call Me By Your Name, this story is a feast for the soul. Saxon Boulevard takes Berlinable's challenge to make condoms sexy to the next level. With beautiful attention to detail, he paints a vivid picture of hot summer days by a scenic rock pool. Andre, a well-intentioned model citizen goes there to pick up garbage and condoms other swimmers have littered the bank with. As a reward from the universe for his good deed, he meets Patrick, an enticing stranger that quite literally emerges from water.
He is gifted with company for his heroic task, and a bond is formed between the two men. Andre's longing for Patrick is almost unbearable — his desire fueled by the uncertainty only secret admiration can bring. As they clean out the river banks together, their bond grows. And finally, they are the ones using condoms by the water, in a delightful and sensorial scene of outdoor sex.
For its palpable tension and a refreshing intake on romance, this is a must read for those who yearn for freedom and love.
