Rinkitink in Oz is the thrilling adventure of fun-loving monarch Rinkitink and his surly talking goat Bilbil, who land on the foreign shores of the island of Pingaree only to be caught in the middle of a war between two neighbouring kingdoms. With the help of three magic pearls and the young prince of Pingagree, Rinkitink and Bilbil must save the island's inhabitants . . . or be forced in to slavery. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and its thirteen sequels have enchanted audiences since their publication in the early twentieth century. Rinkitink in Oz was originally written ten years before publication as an unrelated fantasy novel. L. Frank Baum later adapted it as the tenth book in the Oz series.
