If you like surprises, you've come to the right place. Reverberations is a book of stories, poems, and drawings that moves freely between tones and perspectives. Some pieces are intimate and grounded; others are surreal, procedural, absurd, or quietly devastating. The only constant is that no two entries play by the same rules. Within these pages, casual moments spiral into lasting consequences, jokes curdle into cruelty, and memory reshapes events long after they've passed. This is a book for readers who enjoy variety, value voice, and are willing to let a collection surprise them, again and again.
The range demonstrated in these pages emanates from a multi-disciplinary artist who has been writing short pieces for more than 35 years and crafting visual art his entire life. Reverberations follows Gurley's 2020 dark novella Conclusions.
