One of the best ways to educate others about sexual assault and mental illness is to talk about it. This is a small book of short poems and thoughts that were written by L. Alessandra, a twenty-something- year-old survivor of many traumas. The poems include descriptions of rape, sexual assault, abuse, sex, depression, and suicide. Readers can look into the life of a survivor, and maybe, they too can relate.
