After more than 25 years in the ministry, and at the prompting of many ministers, Dr. J. Sidlow Baxter evaluates the evangelical church of America. Focusing on its orientation to the Bible, to Pentecost and to public worship, Dr. Baxter has a heart-to-heart talk with the church: its pastor and people. Rethinking Our Priorities flows from an anguish of concern over the plight of Protestant Christendom.
