In the hilly and flat lands of Antarctica where desolation is nearly absolute and the temperature is beyond lethal, an explorer sets out to find a lost part of humanity that could help revive a dying Earth. With the help of another explorer they must find what countless others couldn't find, before a world outside Antarctica rots and dies or before the harshness of the continent itself claims their lives. Battling against the powerful gelid winds, the changing topography of a melting continent, hunger, exhaustion, against themselves and each other, Anna and the nameless man will have to trust in each other to confront the perils of the road and to survive the demons of their own pasts in order to find what neither of them is sure exists. This environmental fiction combines the thrills of Antarctic exploration, the beautiful and calm landscapes of one of the least understood continents, as well as the dangers of it, with the resilience of human endurance and the hunger for knowledge to shed a little light on one of the most remote, most captivating, most endangered places on Earth and its secrets.
