She wore many masks before she understood they all belonged to her.
RED is told in three voices-Bug, the girl who learned to survive before she understood why; Jo, the young woman who mistook movement for freedom and self-destruction for control; and GeoLyn, the woman who finally stopped running long enough to look back.
Across trauma, motherhood, love, and devastating loss, RED follows a woman who spent years outrunning her past before discovering that healing meant turning toward it. An unflinching memoir about the identities we build to survive and the pieces of ourselves we carry forward, RED transforms what once meant warning and pain into something else entirely: a thread, a pulse, a life still being written.
This is not a story about what was done to her. It's a story about who she chose to become.
