Stan Bishop is a retired United States Air Force colonel and decorated Vietnam War veteran combat pilot. Recollections are his second book, his first book was entitled, "Recollections: Memories from My Youth." He lives in Florida with his wife and has a daughter and grandson who live in the United Kingdom.
I wrote a book, entitled, "Recollections, Memories from my Youth," which recalls growing up with my young brothers in rural North Carolina during the 1940s, 1950s, and early 1960s. After it was published, people asked me to tell about my military career, most especially my experiences during my flying career and the time I spent in war-torn Vietnam.
