An adult slow-burn reaper romantasy with forbidden love, forced proximity, a touch-her-and-die shadow hero and a murdered heroine hunting for answers.
He was supposed to be her end. Instead, she became his beginning.
For eight centuries, Rhyker has stalked the Shadowveil, reaping fae souls without hesitation.
Cold. Ruthless. Merciless.
Then the Veil Lords send him after an anomaly-a soul no other Reaper can catch.
Soraya is frightened, lost and unmistakably human. Murdered in the Mortal Realm and dragged into Faelora, she is trapped in a world of magic, warring fae courts and dangers she cannot begin to understand.
Rhyker's orders are simple: pull her into the Shadowveil and erase her existence with one strike of his scythe.
He hesitates.
Soraya has barely begun to understand her death, and something about her arrival is wrong. To buy her time, Rhyker agrees to help find the man who killed her and discover why her soul was brought into his realm.
Every answer places her in greater danger. Every moment together weakens the control he has guarded for centuries. Soraya looks at Death and sees someone worth saving, awakening feelings Rhyker thought had died with the man he once was.
The Veil Lords want her soul destroyed.
They will have to come through him to take it.
Rhyker will break every Reaper law, challenge the gods who command him and condemn himself to oblivion before surrendering the woman who made him feel alive again.
Reaper's Ruin is Book One in the Reaper's Ruin Trilogy, perfect for readers who love yearning shadow daddies, forbidden romance, touch-her-and-die devotion, found family and heroines who make Death question everything.
