This book is for every person who lost themselves along the way. It's for the woman who made herself smaller in a marriage, the caretakers who feel invisible and exhausted, and the people who can't say no to anyone. It's for individuals who play a role in their family, at work, and with their friends but bite their tongue, keeping their true thoughts and feelings hidden.
Real, Not Perfect will guide you to recover your authentic self through the process of setting intentions and defining yourself on your own terms by healing the wounds that put up barriers in the first place.
Holly infuses her unique personal style, intuitive gifts, and personal healing stories to guide you through a step-by-step process to help you claim your voice, passions, and self-worth. Guided meditations and Holly's Healing Homework will support you to break free from limiting definitions of self and prioritize yourself, first, for the first time. Real, Not Perfect will help you to stop hiding behind people's expectations and discover the version of you, you want to be.

Holly is an intuitive healer, award-winning author, and public speaker with a lifetime of experiences overcoming loss, trauma, and regaining self-worth and power. She helps clients cope with emotional wounds, relationship difficulties, career transitions, and ending patterns of behavior and reactions that no longer work in their lives. Her ability to connect with things beyond the five senses, along with her decades of expertise, make her the right person to help others get comfortable being vulnerable and equipped to heal.
This book also explains what an intuitive healer is and how Holly works. Some knowledge of energy healing, mindfulness, and chakras is helpful for the reader, but not necessary if you are open to spiritual awakening. You don't have to understand how healing works, just open to the process.
Holly believes happiness is an option and she wants to help you get there.
Danielle Duchatellier Boucree MSW, LMSW, MBA Real, Not Perfect: How to Become Your Happy, Authentic Self is informative, motivating and validating. It's the absolute best combination of a warm, fuzzy blanket in front of a fireplace and that perky little cheerleader we all knew in high school. You will love how easy it makes being actionable with its workbook feature and how its meditations feel like they are customized for you. I plan on incorporating some of it in my private practice as a clinical psychotherapist. This is a must-have for everyone's bookshelf.
