Quade Raeghan was murdered in 1984 in Grey Falls River, New York. He left behind an unborn child. That child, Quinn Sonora Reaghan, became a United States federal prosecutor who lived and worked in San Diego, California. She was married but separated from a detective and actor, Brick Rainwater, who lived and worked in Los Angeles, California. While on vacation in Grey Falls River, Quinn investigates the murder of her biological father.
