About
This poetry collection runs the gamut from love stories, both sensual ("The Artist") and ill-fated ("Lost Loves"), to the macabre ("The Incubus").
There is an intensely-spiritual aspect to some of the poems, such as "Tranquility" and "Starstruck," while others concern the related topics of time and our own mortality ("Waiting" and "The Reaper"). "Aurora" makes thinly-veiled allusions to a near-death experience, and the title "Proof of Heaven" speaks for itself.
The volume also includes lighthearted selections (for example, "A Winning Hand" and "Footnotes") for balance, ensuring that the reader experiences a roller coaster of emotions.
