Purpose Inside A Wallet is a deeply moving and spiritually resonant memoir that began with a child's simple act of love. In 1974, ten-year-old Tonya wrote a letter to her hospitalized father, a letter he would carry in his wallet until his passing in 1989, a testament to their unbreakable bond. Fifty years later, this book is her profound, heartfelt response to that original letter.
From her upbringing in Harlem as the only daughter among five brothers to a successful corporate career spanning New York, Virginia, and Texas, Tonya weaves a narrative of faith, resilience, and purpose. Her story is a tribute to the heroic father who shaped her, a chronicle of the triumphs and trials that defined her, and a testament to a mother whose legacy of love continues through the symbolism of a butterfly.
Purpose Inside A Wallet is more than a personal story; it's an inspirational guide for anyone seeking to understand their own divine purpose. Through personal anecdotes, spiritual reflections, and scripture, Tonya explores profound themes of grief, healing, and unwavering faith. This book invites readers to reflect on their own lives, recognize the fingerprints of God in their journey, and find the courage to walk in their unique calling. It is a beautiful celebration of family, a tribute to enduring love, and a powerful reminder that our most profound purpose is often revealed through the quiet moments and lasting legacies of those we cherish most.
