From the beaches of Boston's North Shore comes a powerful collection of poetry that speaks directly to the heart. "Purple Ice Cream" is an intimate journey through love, loss, and the courage to keep dreaming. In this newly republished collection, poet Sunni E. Potach invites readers into her world through seventeen carefully crafted poems that capture life's most profound moments: • Experience the bittersweet taste of "Lost Dreams" as childhood aspirations meet adult realities • Dive deep into "Her Ocean," where identity and connection swirl in currents of emotion • Feel the raw honesty of "I Should've Walked Out" and the healing power of self-worth • Journey through "Crossroads" where fate and choice dance in delicate balance The collection's crown jewel, "Purple Ice Cream," weaves a haunting metaphor of melting moments and wilting roses, speaking to anyone who has ever felt the need to be truly seen and accepted. Perfect for: • Poetry lovers seeking authentic, emotionally resonant verse • Readers navigating their own journey of self-discovery • Fans of confessional poetry in the tradition of Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton • Anyone who has ever felt the need to express what words alone couldn't say Originally published fifteen years ago, this beloved collection returns with the same raw honesty and emotional depth that captured readers' hearts. Each poem is a window into the human experience, crafted with the precision of a master storyteller and the vulnerability of a trusted friend. From the author: "Poetry has always been my outlet - a way for me to express my emotions when I couldn't say them out loud." Don't miss this chance to experience the collection that readers have called "deeply moving," "authentically raw," and "impossibly beautiful."
