The failure to forgive leads to a self-made prison that hinders the body of Christ, the movement of Christ, and your life's purpose. The inability to forgive ties the hands of God and keeps him from moving on your behalf and in the lives of others.
In Pulling Back the Layers of Forgiveness, author Dr. Cynthia L. Henderson offers a curriculum that explores forgiveness from a Biblical aspect and exposes the white elephant that can be, found in congregations throughout the world. She discusses the effects and consequences that come from the refusal to forgive, identifying the different faces and layers of forgiveness and the effect it has on relationships, prayer, and overall wholeness.
Pulling Back the Layers of Forgiveness shares Henderson's journey with the Holy Spirit through the forgiveness process. It shows how unforgiveness, if left unresolved, affects every area of an individual's life, building walls that shut people out and enclose you in a self-made prison.
