About
The pampered daughter of a Hollywood movie tycoon is keeping secrets-even from the former Navy SEAL who's trying to save her life. Ashley Hathaway has been a recluse ever since her father was killed in a car crash a year ago. As she prepares to step back into the spotlight to attend an event-her father's good friend works behind the scenes to provide security without her knowledge. Rad's instincts tell him something isn't right, but even he doesn't know everything that Ashley is hiding. When former Navy SEAL Jarrod "Lance" Landis becomes the newest member of the Phantom Force Tactical team, he thinks he has it all. But being the "new guy" comes with a price-like being forced to accept a mission to protect a pampered heiress that none of the other top-tier operators would want. Lance soon discovers that Ashley Hathaway is a far cry from the jet-setting, glamor-and-glitz type he assumed she was-but that doesn't make the mission any easier. The five-day security op that seemed like a waste of his talent turns into a fight to stay alive, as Ashley slowly reveals the details of her father's latest project, and the mysterious circumstances of his death.
