While they were excited to get out of New Jersey for a couple of weeks, she and her good friend, Abby, are unprepared for the grave circumstances in which they find themselves. Sarahs summer begins in Texas, but it does not end there. It is as if she is being pulled through time and space, moving from Clarksville to Jerusalem in a matter of days. Will Aunt Debbie survive after losing her husband to death? Will Sarah ever get to see Jaffee after he is blown up by a car bomb? And who is the bald, American guy that keeps popping up everywhere Sarah goes while she is in Israel?
