In this irreverent, nostalgic, and light-hearted take on the typical space opera, the down-on-his-luck alcoholic Nick Bridges is abducted by aliens to save the galaxy - whether he wants to or not. They tell him that only he - out of everyone in the universe - is being called by a cybernetic armor that is key to their mission. A mission that they now expect him to help complete.
