From The Lays of Anuskaya comes a dark tale of ambition, desire, and utter loss of control. Twenty-five years after The Flames of Shadam Khoreh, prima ballerina Mikaella discovers one of the triplets of Vostroma, not the Duchess Mileva, or her sister, the Grand Duchess Atiana, but the lost sister, Ishkyna, who has long been thought lost. She isn't lost, however. She has returned, and she sees in Mika something she wants very greatly, and it's up to Mika to stop her if she can.
