The poetry of Precarity... Academic explanations of trauma pale in comparison to Ian's poems, portraying the experience of the survivor firsthand from the inside. Ian's experience and privilege of working with these incredibly brave and resilient people has equipped him to be a voice for some of those who have no voice. He has the knack of giving words to the hither to indescribable... He has stood in precarity... and not flinched. John Wright (trauma counsellor, educator, songwriter, musician)
