And Thereafter" is a deeply personal collection of poetry by Hamed Samadi, written during a turbulent time in his life after being wrongfully imprisoned and sectioned under the Mental Health Act. His words capture the pain of lost love, the agony of confinement, and the hope found in personal growth. From tributes to loved ones like "To Aunty Rebecca" and "Dear Mummy," to reflections on his incarceration in "Prison Is Boring" and "Potatoes and Pasties," Hamed chronicles his journey through hardship and survival.
