Plain View Farm Journals is a delightful book, filled with the Stadems' and Ginthers' account of their lives and the history of their origins in Norway, and their immigration to America. Immediately, you will see strong spiritual influence that permeated these families, which was their backbone and still is, where they drew their strength throughout their lives.Family members recounted what life was like in the early 1900's, with the difficulties that sometimes arose, and at the same time, the joy of planting their roots in America. It is such a treasure of a book which takes you back in time, to glimpse day to day life living on a farm. This unique book is truly an inspiration, showing what family members did during their tough times and tragedies, and it will be sure to encourage anyone especially today. You can consider Plain View Farm Journals to be the sequel to Pearl's Diary, as you will learn more about Mama and Papa Stadem and their children, who all grew up to be adults and having families of their own. And now today the Stadems have blossomed to be many families, which I am sure would have been to the delight of Mama and Papa Stadem!
