About
A PROMISE TO HONOUR THE DEAD BECOMES A BATTLE FOR THE LIVING.
When young warrior Arnald Oberlin and elven sheriff Kysha Naberyn arrive in Wyvernmont to lay their commander to rest, whispers of a grim discovery stir the town. Two boys, slain under mysterious circumstances. An expedition into the wilds. An ancient ruin steeped in silence and shadow.
What they uncover there will awaken a hunger long buried-the Upyr, a blood-thirsty scourge capable of turning friend into foe and the innocent into monsters. As the siege of Wyvernmont begins, Arnald and Kysha must unite trolls, fae, and townsfolk in a desperate stand. But even if they survive the night, the true heart of the darkness still waits in the depths.
To destroy it, they will have to return to where it all began... and face the choice between safety and sacrifice, light and oblivion.
