Paying the Tuition Getting Life's Lessons is a passionate account of gains and losses through the lenses of disillusionment. So often in this society, there is a hefty price paid for the accumulation of "likes," material possessions, and artificial perceptions of reality. Without proper clarity, powerful lessons usually go unrecognized. Christy Alsandor tells the true story of her experience in lacking the ability to be anchored to truth, presence, and intention.
The journey begins with embarking on a life full of enormous possibilities, ready to conquer the world. Through a series of crushing trials and errors, clear lessons were learned. A virtual cornucopia of profound awareness about having a life of purposeful meaning where Christy was not the sole beneficiary. Life was no longer about paying attention to the singular circumstances that occurred, but about the proverbial forks in the road where it was easy to make tons of excuses or use it to change the trajectory of one's life.
A deeply moving, yet witty memoir, which looks at this thing called life. Once transformed, a significant understanding of the incredible value that lies in having a physical system of support that offers emotional, spiritual, and mental encouragement. In the end, a marvelous ripple effect was created that yielded a better understanding of what is really behind the feelings of empathy, extraordinary love, and sincere compassion when actively showing up for yourself and others in the glory and the gloom.
