After a stormy Voters Assembly meeting that evening, Pastor Berg calls Helen his wife and tells her he is spending the night at the church. When he doesn't contact her the next day, she calls on the congregational President George Harrelson to stop by the church to see why. This begins the search for Pastor is Missing. In this book Author Alan M. Oberdeck leads us, through George Harrelson's eyes the search for answers as to just why and where Pastor Berg may be. As the search progresses, we along with George delve into the Pastor's deepest thoughts about his ministry from reading pages in his diary. We also see the conflicting sides of the congregation with those who resist his leadership versus those who work with him. During the search we watch the loving response and concern given to his family. Join George in his search. Book is written from the perspective of the church President, but is about the difficulties the pastor encounters with his leading the congregation.
