Palms and Pomegranates

In a fictional North Africa Mediterranean country, a privileged family grapples with an increasingly cruel and oppressive regime. The story follows Perin, their Western-educated daughter, who returns home and navigates a treacherous path that ultimately endangers those she loves, as well as, the people she tries to help.

Perin's love of home, rich tradition, and family ties collides with her awakening as a witness and activist. Palms and Pomegranates brings to life a vibrant and sensual culture brought to the breaking point.
