Paint Me!

Red, blue, and yellow are just the tip of the iceberg when you have a good imagination. In this charming and colorfully illustrated story, a young girl makes her way through the day-first painting a portrait of her dog, and then painting anything and everything she can find. With a simple, affectionate plot that adequately teaches colors and embraces the "creative process" for many kids, Paint Me! offers a message of self-discovery and promotes a love of art and creativity. Featuring a heartwarming story and simple yet stunningly compelling illustrations from author and illustrator Sarah Frances Hardy, Paint Me! encourages children to explore their creativity and express themselves. Children ages 2 to 5 will love following the little girl through her painting process, learning new colors (both primary and secondary) as she creates a colorful mess around her house. The story concludes with bedtime, making this a wonderful bedtime read for young children. The expressive illustrations are sure to inspire a whole new generation of young artists. Sky Pony Press, with our Good Books, Racehorse and Arcade imprints, is proud to publish a broad range of books for young readers, picture books for small children, chapter books, books for middle grade readers, and novels for young adults. Our list includes bestsellers for children who love to play Minecraft; stories told with LEGO bricks; books that teach lessons about tolerance, patience, and the environment, and much more. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home.
