About
An adorable yet self-absorbed miniature dachshund becomes a medical doctor in this heartwarming, hilarious novel.
Solomon wants to be Top Dog. Despite being born the runt of his litter and weighing only nine pounds, he is determined to prove himself to the world. But how? While watching his favourite TV show one day, the answer arrives: become a bona fide MD, the first ever Dog-tor. Maybe then he can help his disabled Mom and gain the respect that a tiny wiener dog deserves.
With the help of his lovable Doxie brother, Oliver; his human sister, Malia; and their very own Clever Collie, Maestro; Solomon navigates life as a doctor with both dogged determination and comical naivety.
Inspired by real events, "Paging Dr. Solomon" is an insightful and surprising comedy about the power of believing in oneself.
Lauria Dianne Kerr is an award-winning piano teacher and retired RCM piano examiner who has taught students of all ages for more than 35 years. Humour and creativity have always been at the heart of her teaching. She loves spending time in the mountains or by the water. When she's not teaching or writing, Miss Kerr can be found curled up with her beloved dogs-and feeding them too many treats.
