Have you ever asked yourself, why am I like this?
Have you felt trapped in a story that never seems to change?
With over two decades of experience guiding families, Lael Stone delves into the profound impact of childhood "Imprints" - the deeply ingrained stories and beliefs that shape our perceptions and drive our adult behaviours. By uncovering these unconscious patterns, we gain the power to reclaim our stories and, ultimately, rewrite them. This is a book for everyone who has wondered:
Why can't I find a partner?
Why do I yell at my kids?
Why don't I speak up at meetings?
Why can't I stop drinking, shopping, doom scrolling?
Why does joy elude me?
Why can't I seem to make my bed, do my taxes, ring my mother?
Whether you're a parent, someone on a path of personal growth, or simply seeking to understand the unconscious forces that influence your decisions, Own Your Story offers invaluable insights into how childhood experiences shape who we become. This transformative guide empowers you to ask - and answer - the essential question: What do I want my life to look like?
